סוכה א:ג

Too much sun, too many falling leaves, too many cover and sheets!

פֵּרַס עָלֶיהָ סָדִין מִפְּנֵי הַחַמָּה

אוֹ תַּחְתֶּיהָ מִפְּנֵי הַנְּשָׁר

 (picture 1)  אוֹ שֶׁפֵּרַס עַל גַּבֵּי הַקִּינוֹף

פְּסוּלָה

(picture 2) אֲבָל פּוֹרֵס הוּא עַל גַּבֵּי נַקְלִיטֵי הַמִּטָּה

* In order for a space to be considered a Halachic space, it must be more than 9 Tefachim....remeber Sukkah 1:1. See Talmud Sukkah 11a. below.
